AGM was appointed by one of our long-standing hospitality clients to secure planning permission for renovation, along with the necessary licensing for a new restaurant in central Bath.
This process required close collaboration with the Police and Fire Services, the local Council and its Licensing Team, along with public consultation through notices published in the local press. Thanks to AGM’s in-depth expertise in licensing procedures, the application progressed smoothly, with all licenses granted promptly and without issue.
More recently, AGM received Advertisement Consent for the display of 1 no. non-illuminated fascia sign to the restaurant. This was to replace existing signage, which was unauthorised. Through a thoughtful design, it was determined by the Planning Officer that the scale of the lettering was proportionate to the fascia and the colour of the lettering would not appear incongruous in the location. It was therefore assessed to have an acceptable impact on the character of the Conservation Area and this part of the World Heritage Site.
