Over the course of several planning applications, AGM was successful in securing Full planning permission for the erection of a temporary mobile home (for a rural worker) and, subsequently, the erection of a permanent rural worker dwelling (in the form of a log cabin) to assist the growth of the mixed-livestock and equestrian enterprise.
As part of both applications, AGM were able to convincingly demonstrate that there was a justified ‘essential need’ for such a dwelling to be sited on the land. This involved the submission of robust and detailed financial accounts, along with a clear business plan for future growth and development, which led to the Local Planning Authority concluding that the business was financially sound and had clear prospects of remaining so in the future.
The dwelling comprises of a single storey mobile unit which conforms to the Caravan Act, as a Twin Unit Caravan.
