Over the course of two planning applications, AGM was successful in securing Full planning permission for the erection of a youngstock barn, as well as the erection of an office building (with associated viewing pavilion) in conjunction with the existing equestrian stud.
The existing arena on site is used for the training of the horses and it is also available to hire out. The erection of the proposed office and viewing pavilion would, therefore, allow the equestrian business to grow and provide a higher-quality standard of facilities.
The materiality of the building was sensitively designed to ensure that it was in-keeping with its surroundings and is to consist of timber cladding and stonework walls, finished with a slate tile roof.
Architectural assistance was provided by Hill Reading Architects.
