AGM were contacted following a previously failed attempt for Residential Housing sited within a large garden of a property in Whitchurch. The site was located in the Greenbelt meaning development is strictly controlled.
Assessing the reasons for refusal AGM were able to put forward a strategy and scheme that was policy compliant and overcame the previous issues. This involved layout changes, re-designs and obtaining further input form external consultants.
Despite this, the Local Authority deemed the development did not meet the definition of Infill and refused the application. AGM appealed the decision to the Planning Inspectorate who agreed with our assessment and approved the application.
